Tension gauge
Make sure to check your tension by creating a gauge swatch before starting your knit. Gauge: 11 stitches and 13 rows with Wild alpaca in height with stockinette with 10 mm needles for a 10 x 10 cm swatch. Everyone’s tension is different, so if your tension is too tight and your gauge swatch measures too little, change to a thicker needle. If your tension is too loose and your gauge swatch is too wide, change to a thinner needle.
Good to know
The shoulders are knitted back and forth, starting from the backside and then opening up for the neckline. The neckline is connected again on the front side and from there knitted as one piece again. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves on each side, the neckline and the hemline, connected together and knitted in round.
