Meet Chunky Baby, a luxuriously soft, hand-dyed 100% baby alpaca yarn sourced from the heart of the Peruvian Andes. We work with mills that collaborate closely with small scale alpaca farmers whose lives are deeply connected to the well being of their animals and the land they live on.
This non-superwash yarn is completely natural and untreated, with no synthetic or plastic fibers, ensuring a soft, breathable, and sustainable option for your chunky knits. It's perfect for cozy sweaters, scarves, and accessories that wrap you in gentle warmth.
Each skein is hand-dyed by Thelma Steimann in our Copenhagen studio. Variations in tone are part of the charm each colorway is unique, even within the same dye bath, and available only in limited quantities.
