The measurements are based on the size of the sweater before wash ; the sweater might increase in cm when washed depending on the way it´s washed.

Frisevang alpaca consists of 90-95 % baby alpaca and 5-10 % royal alpaca. The yarn is handspun by local spinners in Marcapata region in Peru. The yarn comes both as natural color or dyed with plants sourched from local surroundings. Each hank consist of 250 - 300 m in every 100 gr. Frisevangs alpaca is super soft base to work with. Tension gauge sample

Be sure to check your own tension before starting to knit.

Cast on 20 stitches and knit 29 rows on needles size 3,5 mm for a 10 x 10 cm sample. 

If tension measures too tight, change to a thicker needle.

If tension measures too wide, change to a thinner needle.

Good to know

The sweater is knitted from the bottom to the top in a circle .The body and the sleeves are knitted separately and then connected together at the armpits and knitted together from there. The pearls are threaded on the yarn before the yarn is knitted according to instructions, it’s recommended to watch the tutorial for further instructions of the pearl work.

The quantity of yarn required is based on an average , and is therefore an approximate number. The sweater can be knitted in any yarn that consists of the same thickness as Frisevang alpaca, and the col- or combination is not set in stone.
